Passion, Love & Happiness. I'm on a journey to capture these emotions from people who radiate their inner beauty and joy into my lens. I photograph because I adore weddings, a spontaneous lifestyle and meeting amazing individuals who will change my life. I hope that next unique someone is you.

Last week I was delighted to venture out with my girlfriends Melissa and Terri for pedicures as a celebration for Melissa’s new baby girl, Mya, because mother’s need some pampering too! Melissa had never experienced the thrill of a pedicure and so I brought my camera of course to document the event. I had never experienced a pedicure myself until my wedding 2 years ago and what a shame! I thought I would share some thoughts on why this should be a routine requirement for adult women, maybe next in priority to brushing your teeth!
1. It’s a great excuse for a girls day. When’s the last time you went out with just the ladies? Luckily, the boys aren’t interested in this luxurious activity, though if your man is willing to get a pedicure, hide your sweet smelling lotions and soft pajamas. He might discover how amazing it is to be a woman then you’re doomed!
2. You deserve a massage. Whether you’re a bride, mother, student, hard-worker, or just a sweet wife, this time of year is crazy and you need your body to be de-stressed by soaking your feet in a warm bath and enjoying crystal salts lathered on your legs. Ok, you may want to shave for this one, but it’s worth it!

3. It’s time to laugh. So I have a confession, I enjoy my pedicures at Wal-Mart. The price is unbeatable, the nail technicians are so friendly and I love walking around the store in absurd looking flip-flops and webbed feet. Then they have these massage chairs which make you sound like Darth Vadar when you talk. I adore watching my friends faces while they’re enjoying that moment of bliss. We all look like we’re making love to the chairs. It’s amazing and ridiculously hilarious. Also comical is witnessing my friends trying to take a photo of me with my camera. It took two of them to operate and this is the result.
4. It’s a great time to catch up on gossip. We’re women and we love to talk. This is a beneficial trait to possess when toe drying is required for a long period of time!
5. Your toes will look so sexy! I’m not making this up, having great looking toes is such a confidence booster and puts you in a fabulous mood. Wake up feeling grumpy and tired? Look down at your feet, they’ll be smiling back ready to take on the world! Did I mention I love pedicures?
Looking for a pedicure buddy? Now you know who to call!
I was completely surprised by a beautiful bouquet of flowers this week from a very special client and I just wanted to say thank you. They are a wonderful reminder that I’m so fortunate to do what I love and that my art touches the lives of others. I feel incredibly blissful today. :)
I was testing my camera and needed a subject. Luckily there was one right at my feet. If I spend my day working on the couch, he’s always snuggled next to me and I never feel alone. He really is my best friend.
I hold a special admiration for Karyn’s floral designs at Genesee Valley Florist in Geneseo, NY. She was my wedding florist and I simply adored my wedding bouquet & roses so I was thrilled when Pete and Jannette hired Karyn for their fall wedding. Orange is a very strong, bold color which can sometimes be overdone but Karyn created such elegant arrangements I was tickled pink…I mean orange!
If you are looking for a talented and enthusiastic florist for your Western New York wedding, I suggest setting up an appointment with Karyn in her adorable shop. Don’t forget to taste a few truffles, they’re delicious!
The warm sunny day was like a mid-July afternoon and there was no place we would rather be than photographing Pete and Jannette’s wedding in Geneseo. The ceremony was held at Long Point Park on Conesus Lake under the dappled light of tall trees with a relaxing breeze from the water. Jannette’s ivory dress was the absolute perfect complement to her creamy smooth skin while Pete’s bright orange tie mirrored his expression the whole day. I love people with fantastic smiles!
Both the ceremony and reception were filled with personal touches from the custom ceremony programs designed by the groom to their impressive first dance. (Anyone who can ballroom dance in front of a crowd screams talent to me!) It was a wonderfully casual and entertaining party for the guests and the newlyweds, who didn’t mind getting close and cuddly for some truly stunning portraits. Did I mention how in love I was with Jannette’s train? Super amazing!
