Passion, Love & Happiness. I'm on a journey to capture these emotions from people who radiate their inner beauty and joy into my lens. I photograph because I adore weddings, a spontaneous lifestyle and meeting amazing individuals who will change my life. I hope that next unique someone is you.

Who doesn’t adore seeing the latest in products and photo goodies? For the first post in the new segment “Out the Door”, I thought I would share a few images of Melinda and Paul’s massive 12x12” Renaissance wedding album. This book is gigantic and incredibly beautiful in person! The bride and groom choose a premium red leather cover and couldn’t live without every designed spread, so the book boasts the maximum of 70-pages. I was delighted to deliver this piece of art to Melinda and Paul and know it will be a conversation piece for years to come.
In the age of digital files and facebook photos, I desire to offer brides & grooms the finest in touchable, beautiful fine art pieces and our new custom presentation box filled with vibrant lustre proofs is no exception. Included in each wedding collection for 2011, the luxurious box is filled with every 4x6” proof from your wedding gallery. Displaying stunning images on the outside as well as the inner cover, the box is perfect for stashing jewelry or important mementos from your unforgettable day. Simply gorgeous and a total must have!
tricia: (01.26.11 - 12:20 am) yummy. i want one of these for me.
I find it humorous to view my blog and see that my last post was in November. Looks like I’ve been sitting on my bum twiddling my thumbs! But the silence is actually a sign of a fabulous holiday and an exciting new year. I have so many backed up blog posts and images to share, but I’m not going to apologize and make excuses. In fact, this was exactly what I had envisioned and hoped for, for a silent blog means exciting things are brewing….
Oh the thoughts I want to share right now, but who wants to spoil all the upcoming fun? So I’ll start the year with the beautiful holiday card I created for Carmen. I adore receiving mail around the holidays and seeing the growth of children and families over the past year. It seems our family introduces a new pooch into our crazy mix of canines quite often so Carmen needed to brag about her little “Piper” as this year’s addition. Of course I had a wonderful time photographing the card on my husband’s new antique roll-top desk. This makes desk number #4 in our house, so of course it was a necessity…..but I was delighted to open the drawer and find he had hidden vintage photos of his Dad to keep close. His habit of holding on to the past often drives me nuts (who needs to save movie stubs?) but sometimes it brings a smile to my face.
It’s the first post of 2011 so I wish you an unbelievably amazing fantastic exciting wonderful fabulous happy ridiculously deelicious new year!
Carmen: (01.11.11 - 1:21 pm) This is just lovely!! I'm glad I came up with the idea...Nice picture!
I have a confession…for the past year I’ve worked in my office very little. Anyone who is close to me knows that I’m ridiculously in love with my house and even though my office is 5 minutes from my home, I was only dropping in once a week. That was until a few weeks ago….
Though I adored my crazy paint job, my office walls were bare of any photographs and I found it uninspiring for both myself and my clients. So last month I went wild ordering display products including canvases, standouts, floats, a big screen tv, a new coffee table and of course a mini beverage bar. I removed some furniture to open up some space and voila! I’m now SO IN LOVE with my office! In fact, I’ve been enjoying every week day now in my new space. I’ll be the first to admit that my banana green walls aren’t the best backdrop for my images, but in the dreary winter, my office is my sunshine and I just couldn’t let go of the bright colors! What once was a semi-boring meeting space is now a vibrant and exciting entrance and I’ve yet to have a visitor come in and not comment on my subject’s fabulous photos!
Adorning my sitting space are the new Fine Art Floats. A unique option to display images, Fine Art Floats are similar to Canvases or Standout Mounts in that they add dimension by extending out from the wall. Fine Art Floats are unique in that they appear to be floating on the wall with the main focus on the image! Create a modern display with a Float wall collage that is ready to hang once removed from the box.
These pieces are created by wrapping the photographic print or canvas print around masonite to create a thin wrap. The print or canvas is protected with a laminate and padding is added between the print and the masonite to give the front of the Float a raised, elegant look and feel. The back of the Float is complete with black paper backing and a black ¾” thick gatorboard block that allows the Float to extend out from the wall. The back of the block also contains drilled holes for hanging.
I just received my 30"x40” Fine Art Canvas for display in the office and it’s absolutely amazing! By far my favorite way to display images on my walls, this is definitely a product you must have the minute you see it!
Fine Art Canvases display a printed image with its emulsion stripped, bonded to canvas and wrapped around a wood frame allowing the image to display on all sides with a 1.5” depth. The laminate high-gloss finish provides UV light protection as well as resisting scuffs, scratches and cracking. Framing paper covers the back of the canvas with metal hangers and corner bumpers, or choose the wire hanger option without paper backing.
Gorgeous!!!!
