Passion, Love & Happiness. I'm on a journey to capture these emotions from people who radiate their inner beauty and joy into my lens. I photograph because I adore weddings, a spontaneous lifestyle and meeting amazing individuals who will change my life. I hope that next unique someone is you.

Enjoying a lovely glass of wine with my friend, Cristyn, I snapped this adorable shot of her cat Sassy. Look at those eyes! She’s just waiting for Cat Fancy to call….
Ok, I know I should be posting more wedding photos than pooch pictures, but I was editing some vacation images and came across this cutie named Nixon. He’s the adorable Jack Russell mix owned by Billy’s cousins in Maryland and I couldn’t resist snapping a few shots of him before we left. Could I have a thing for terriers? Let’s just say it’s complicated…
The humidity was intense today so the night was beautiful, finally! I threw my new Speedlight 430 EX II on my camera tonight and took a few test shots around the yard. Most were goofy, but here are my two favs:
I have to laugh on this first shot because I don’t think the flash even fired, but I told my husband to pose so he whipped out his gun and pulled a James Bond move. Worked for me cause I think he looks sexy!
By this time it was getting pretty dark, so why not head to the waterfalls? Makes total sense. The "rapids" were crazy tonight from all the rain so I couldn't believe Pirate was such a rebel and tried to climb the falls, but it made for a cool photo of my cute little Welshie.

I’m having a blast with this flash! More to come if this awesome weather keeps up!
Boy we sure soaked up the sun today…it finally came out to heat things up! More to come…
It was May and I loved driving down my driveway just to admire my lawn filled with dandelions and sweet purple violets. Bill couldn’t wait to cut the grass, but I kept insisting that I take photos of our pooch before the big chop. Truth be told, I knew the lawn wouldn’t look like this again, so I took my “dandy” old time. Armed with my new camera and lens, I snapped some shots of my most unpredictable subject, Pirate.
