Passion, Love & Happiness. I'm on a journey to capture these emotions from people who radiate their inner beauty and joy into my lens. I photograph because I adore weddings, a spontaneous lifestyle and meeting amazing individuals who will change my life. I hope that next unique someone is you.

I have a confession…for the past year I’ve worked in my office very little. Anyone who is close to me knows that I’m ridiculously in love with my house and even though my office is 5 minutes from my home, I was only dropping in once a week. That was until a few weeks ago….
Though I adored my crazy paint job, my office walls were bare of any photographs and I found it uninspiring for both myself and my clients. So last month I went wild ordering display products including canvases, standouts, floats, a big screen tv, a new coffee table and of course a mini beverage bar. I removed some furniture to open up some space and voila! I’m now SO IN LOVE with my office! In fact, I’ve been enjoying every week day now in my new space. I’ll be the first to admit that my banana green walls aren’t the best backdrop for my images, but in the dreary winter, my office is my sunshine and I just couldn’t let go of the bright colors! What once was a semi-boring meeting space is now a vibrant and exciting entrance and I’ve yet to have a visitor come in and not comment on my subject’s fabulous photos!
Adorning my sitting space are the new Fine Art Floats. A unique option to display images, Fine Art Floats are similar to Canvases or Standout Mounts in that they add dimension by extending out from the wall. Fine Art Floats are unique in that they appear to be floating on the wall with the main focus on the image! Create a modern display with a Float wall collage that is ready to hang once removed from the box.
These pieces are created by wrapping the photographic print or canvas print around masonite to create a thin wrap. The print or canvas is protected with a laminate and padding is added between the print and the masonite to give the front of the Float a raised, elegant look and feel. The back of the Float is complete with black paper backing and a black ¾” thick gatorboard block that allows the Float to extend out from the wall. The back of the block also contains drilled holes for hanging.
We were both nervous for this session. Jake because senior sessions are usually a bore and I because he was my first senior. In fact, my strength and experience is in shooting women and couples, so what would I do with a good looking chap for a few hours? But once I arrived at his house, it took us less than 5 minutes to squash our fears. Jake has a fantastic smile and even better, he loves to laugh. And did we laugh! I spent a fantastic afternoon amidst the ridiculous heat driving around Silver Lake and listening to Jake’s aspirations to become an engineer for NASA. It’s so wonderfully refreshing to hear the goals and dreams of a younger generation. If NASA doesn’t plan out though, I’m pretty sure he could get a modeling gig for GQ because he totally rocked the camera!
Thanks again for a fun session Jake and best of luck in your year ahead!
