Describe your wedding day in one word.

Dreamy

What was your favorite moment of the day?

Laying on the bed with Jason while Deanna was taking our pictures… the thrill and rush of the day ceased for those moments and everything melted away and there we were… husband and wife ... exhausted and happy and .... full.   

Favorite wedding photo?

I would have to say the one we had blown up for a our portrait. It seems so timeless .. .elegant ... like we were transposed to another place and time…. which really was the feeling all day .... other than that I really liked the one of everyone at the tables from above ... and…the ones I have never seen…. lol ; )  ...maybe one day….

Any advice for future brides?

Keep it intimate.

Jason and Mariah’s Wedding at Salvatore’s Italian Gardens

Here’s a little tidbit about myself….I love The Beatles Rock Band on the Wii. It’s a pastime my Dad and I thoroughly enjoy together (though he refuses to play above easy…grrr!) and actually inspired me to learn to play the real guitar. So can you imagine my excitement when after the ceremony, Jason and Mariah’s clan whipped out The Beatles Rock Band before the reception? Yes it was time to put down the camera for a few moments….

I also love small weddings and Jason & Mariah’s ceremony was a top contender for emotions and love. Mariah’s father was the officiant who delivered some powerful and tear jerking words. Lots of sniffles during this intimate ceremony! Top if off with a New Year’s party hosted by Salvatore’s Italian Gardens Restaurant past 2am and this group really knew how to bring in a new year! I just love holiday weddings!

Jason and Mariah’s Wedding Sneak Peek in Buffalo, NY

Celebrated on New Year’s Eve, this wedding rocked! Of course there’s more to come shortly, but I’m posting one of my favorites from the night. You wouldn’t know that Jason and Mariah were experiencing drama at this time (due to their poochy going MIA as they were leaving for their reception) because to be honest, I think they were lost in each other’s eyes during this moment and this is why I love weddings.
