Passion, Love & Happiness. I'm on a journey to capture these emotions from people who radiate their inner beauty and joy into my lens. I photograph because I adore weddings, a spontaneous lifestyle and meeting amazing individuals who will change my life. I hope that next unique someone is you.

What a joy to have your closest friends have beautiful babies. I’ve been fortunate to photograph so many wonderful children this year with more on the way! Annabelle was so patient for being only a month old and oozed personality into my lens with that crazy, yet completely adorable hair! Such a cutie!
My dear friends Mark and Judith welcomed their second beautiful daughter, Lidia, in June, the same day as Mark’s birthday! After two hours of labor (yes be jealous mommies), Lidia was born with brilliant red hair at almost 10 pounds. It was a joy and challenge to photograph Lidia as she’s been my smallest subject yet, but after a few tinkles on dad and some kisses from mom, she was a perfect baby.
My couples are incredibly amazing. Not only are they all beautiful and have positive, upbeat personalities, but they also share unique ideas and bring props! Who knew that a couple of giant sunglasses and rain boots would inspire some of my favorite images of Deke + Cassie. Planning a session around the beautiful light of the golden hour, we were fortunate to enjoy lovely weather and an incredible warm glow during most of the evening. I am pumped…no wait…I am SUPER PUMPED to be photographing Deke + Cassie’s wedding in a few weeks with one of my best friends from Colorado Springs, CO, Tricia Muehlbauer of Personaility Portraits! Yippy!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok, now enjoy this couple oozing with love and adorableness! They make me want to get married again…
Tricia Muehlbauer: (05.18.11 - 10:16 am) SOOOOOOOOOOOO very pumped to photograph this wedding with you! You did an absolutely amazing job photographing their engagement pictures. Get ready sister........we're gonna knock it out of the park!
Deanna: (05.18.11 - 12:41 pm) Red Hot Roomies are going to rock it!
Let’s hope the perfect day I shared with Cassie and Deke yesterday is a preview of the weather to come! More to follow…
The snow was almost completely gone, except for a few small piles and it was starting to look like spring when Mother Nature dumped several inches of snow again yesterday and now everything is completely white. It wasn’t until the winter wonderland appeared again that I got an itching for gardening and fresh flowers. I’m really not a good gardener, but I love getting my hands and bare feet covered in dirt so I really appreciate that this weather upset has ignited my outdoor passion for the season! Because I’m feeling fresh and vibrant today, here’s a little floral beauty to inspire you!
