Where are engagement sessions photographed?

Sessions are photographed at your location of choice, not in a studio. Locations could be your favorite city, a park, your home, where your sweetie proposed, your favorite getaway, the sky’s the limit! If you need suggestions, I’m always scooping out funky locations for couples looking for something different and fresh.

When should I book my engagement session?

There really isn’t a definite answer to this question as I’ve photographed couples 2 weeks before their wedding! But I often suggest scheduling your session at least a few months before your wedding. This allows you to incorporate your images into save the date cards, invitations or your wedding theme if you choose and share your photos with family and friends before your wedding. I sometimes suggest booking your engagement session in a different season than your wedding for a varied look, or if your wedding is indoors, choose an outdoor engagement location and visa verse. During the wedding season (May-October), engagement sessions are usually scheduled during the week, but weekends are available on short notice so feel free to ask.
